This server is a personal project run by a disabled gamer in his 50s, who has a passion for Minecraft and belongs to Generation X. Over the years, I've explored many servers, some of which I left, while others resulted in bans.
My disability means I spend a lot of time at home, and a generous former colleague gifted me a Lenovo ThinkServer.
With a fiber-optic internet connection, I've set aside a 1 GB line just for the server. My monthly costs will primarily be for internet and electricity, which I estimate to be around $154 for electricity and $150 for internet services.
Therefore, I'm looking to budget between $100 and $150 monthly to help cover these expenses.
This initiative is also motivated by my limited pension, as I hope to create a side project without being overly frugal.
On the server, player ranks will offer various perks and conveniences, but it will not follow a pay-to-win model. I plan to introduce vote keys that provide small rewards to enhance the gaming experience. For gameplay, I intend to start the server with limited resources, possibly offering a basic kit that isn't too powerful.
The Mine Treasures data pack will bring unique rewards, energy, and experience bottles. Players will be able to gather gems and items for sale through pyromining, along with custom enchantments. Pyro fishing will also be a lucrative opportunity.
Additionally, I plan to add a banking feature for storing money and experience. Keep inventory will be enabled, and there will be custom world terrain. More details will be shared soon.
